Celtic make decision on Odsonne Edouard 'dive' appeal after Rangers derby penalty snub

Celtic will not appeal Odsonne Edouard 's yellow card for simulation against Rangers.

The Frenchman tumbled in the box during the 1-1 draw with their Glasgow rivals under pressure from Borna Barisic.

Referee Willie Collum was seemingly in the perfect position to make the call but decided against awarding a penalty and instead booked the striker.

After the final whistle, interim boss John Kennedy insisted the home side had been denied by a stonewall penalty.

The temporary Celtic manager insisted he can see no reason why his talisman would collapse to the turf with the chance to make it 2-0 on the day.

However, a report from Clyde 1 suggests that the club will not appeal the decision from whistler Collum.

Under SFA rules a yellow card for simulation can be appealed, unlike most other cautionable offences.

Earlier this season Rangers have successfully Alfredo Morelos' yellow card in the clash against Livingston under the rules.
