Celtic 'looking into terms' of deal for £6m-rated World Cup wonderkid

Celtic have stepped up their transfer business and are now being linked with Bosnian talent Ermin Mahmic.

German midfielder Mika Baur was today announced as the club's fourth summer arrival, hot on the heels of Egypt winger Haissen Hassan. Those follow the arrivals of forwards Camilo Duran and £11million man Kasper Hogh.

Hassan shone at the World Cup and so did the Parkhead side's latest reported target Mahmic.

According to inFotbal.cz, the champions the champions are interested in the Slovan Liberec attacking midfielder.

The 21-year-old already has five caps for Bosnia and Herzegovina and scored twice for them at the summer's finals, becoming the nation's highest ever scorer at the World Cup.

He moved to the Czech Republic last summer from Austrian outfit SV Lafnitz, and scored eight goals in all competitions.

It is claimed contact has been made between Celtic and Slovan Liberec with the former attempting to find out the conditions of a deal. They are awaiting full details but have other options for the position on their list.

Turkish giants Besiktas have also been linked but that is seen as an unrealistic move, while the line to Celtic "has been the hottest in the last two weeks."

Reportedly, the Czech side are looking for a fee of arond £6million-£7m.
