Olivier Ntcham continues to come under fire for his performances at Marseille as his nightmare spell continues.
The Celtic midfielder is on loan at the Ligue 1 side until the end of the season but has been on the fringes of the first team.
The Parkhead side hoped Ntcham would impress in his homeland with Marseille exercising their option to make the move permanent in the summer for £4.5million.
But that seems unlikely at the minute as the playmaker has been unable to get regular playing time.
Ntcham hasn't been trusted by boss Jorge Sampaoli since an appearance off the bench against Montpellier at the start of April.
The 25-year-old has regularly been taken off at half-time in games against Lille and Nice, as well as Marseille's shock Coupe de France exit to Canet Roussillon.
The French media have criticised his performances throughout and now La Provence has given him more stick as they assessed Marseille's January transfer window.
The article said: "All you have to do is watch the behaviour of the former Atlético Mineiro manager" referring to Sampaoli when Ntcham is on the pitch.
They claim Sampaoli "was on the verge of a stroke every time the ball went towards (Ntcham’s) feet" due to "the former France Under 21 international’s inability to seemingly understand what was asked of him."
It remains to be seen if Marseille will use their option to buy in the summer, but it looks increasingly unlikely at the minute and there is a great chance Ntcham will return to the Scottish Premiership in the summer.
