Hibs have reportedly opened talks with star striker Kevin Nisbet over "improved terms" amid recent transfer speculation linking him with a move to Celtic and interest from down south.
The 24-year-old is under contract at Easter Road until 2024, but Daily Record are reporting that the club feel Nisbet "deserves an uplift in his wage."
Last week the Scotland international was linked with a cash plus player swap deal with the Hoops, which included Leigh Griffiths heading in the opposite direction to Leith.

Although Celtic gaffer Ange Postecoglou refused to confirm or deny the story when asked, Hibs boss Jack Ross rubbished the claims as Nisbet missed Sunday's 2-2 draw with Dundee due to illness.
It is now believed the Hibees' hierarchy are hoping to keep hold of the striker with a better deal.
Last week Hibs rejected a £500,000 offer from Aberdeen for Nisbet's strike partner Martin Boyle and he swiftly signed a new Hibs contract.
With less than six days remaining before the transfer deadline, it's set to be a tense few days for Hibees fans, who almost lost Nisbet to Birmingham City in the January window.
Nisbet handed in a transfer request after Hibs rejected a £3m bid, but the club dug their heels in and the former Trinity High School pupil got his head down to earn a first Scotland cap up and feature at Euro 2020 for the national side.
