Celtic lineup vs Ross County revealed as Neil Lennon brings Leigh Griffiths into team

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has named his team to face Ross County in the Premiership.

The Hoops take on Ross County looking to avenge their Betfred Cup defeat last month, but they face a Staggies side with a new manager.

Former Celtic defender John Hughes took over at the Dingwall club earlier this week after Stuart Kettlewell was sacked on Saturday.

But it's all about the Hoops and Lennon has brought Ismaila Soro back into the starting lineup after he was benched for the Scottish Cup Final.

Scott Brown and Shane Duffy both miss out through injuries so it means Soro comes back in to the midfield for his third start in four games.

Also coming into the team is Jeremie Frimpong with Kris Ajer moving over to centre back after playing at full back in Sundays penalty shootout win over Hearts.

Conor Hazard keeps his place in goals, despite his errors in Sunday's game.

In front of him will be Frimpong, Kris Ajer, Christopher Jullien and Diego Laxalt.

The midfield sees Soro sitting with Callum McGregor, with Ryan Christie, David Turnbull and Leigh Griffiths as the three in front, and Odsonne Edouard starting through the middle.

Tom Rogic and Moi Elyounoussi are among the subs.

Full team: Hazard, Frimpong, Jullien, Ajer, Laxalt, Soro, McGregor, Turnbull, Griffiths, Edouard, Christie

Subs: Barkas, Taylor, Bitton, Ajeti, Klimala, Rogic, Johnston, Ntcham, Elyounoussi
