Celtic lineup v Motherwell revealed as Neil Lennon makes huge Shane Duffy and Odsonne Edouard calls

Neil Lennon has named his Celtic team for this afternoon's Scottish Premiership clash with Motherwell – and there's no place for Shane Duffy or Odsonne Edouard.

The Parkhead side know they've no option but to return to winning ways at Fir Park if they are to try and get their season back on track.

Lennon and a number of first-team players have come in for severe criticism in the wake of Thursday's 4-1 defeat to Sparta Prague in the Europa League.

The Hoops boss said after the match he would try to change the "culture" at the club ahead of the match this Sunday lunchtime.

And he's made two changes for this afternoon's match at Fir Park, with Kris Ajer and Albian Ajeti coming in for Duffy and Edouard.

Scott Bain continues in goals with Jeremie Frimpong and Diego Laxalt at full-back. Nir Bitton and Ajer will play centrally.

Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic start in midfield, with Ryan Christie and Moi Elyounoussi supporting Ajeti in attack.

Celtic XI: Bain, Frimpong, Bitton, Ajer, Laxalt, Rogic, McGregor, Brown, Christie, Elyounoussi, Ajeti.

Subs: Barkas, Taylor, Duffy, Griffiths, Klimala, Turnbull, Ntcham, Edouard, Ehlamed.

Celtic have the opportunity to cut Rangers' lead at the top of the Premiership to six points, ahead of their match against Hamilton Accies at Ibrox later today.
