Celtic lineup for KR Reykjavik confirmed as Jeremie Frimpong and Kristoffer Ajer are benched

Albian Ajeti, Kristoffer Ajer and Jeremie Frimpong have been named on the bench for tonight's Champions League qualifier.

Celtic are in action for the first time since August 9 as they take on KR Reykjavik in the first qualifying round at Celtic Park.

The winners of tonight's one-legged tie will face either Ferencvaros of Hungary or Djurgardens of Sweden in the second qualifying round.

Should they reach that stage Neil Lennon's side will have home advantage again, with the match scheduled to take place on August 25 or 26.

Vasilis Barkas is in goal, making his second appearance for the club after starting in the 1-1 draw against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Odsonne Edouard will be upfront, with Hatem Abd Elhamed and Nir Bitton coming in. Olivier Ntcham is again among the substitutes.

There is no place in the Celtic squad tonight for Leigh Griffiths or Mikey Johnston, both of whom have calf problems.
