Celtic learn who they'll face next in Champions League qualifiers after KR Reykjavik rout

Celtic have learned who they'll face in their next Champions League qualifier later this month.

Neil Lennon's men will come up against Hungarian side Ferencvaros after they defeated Swedish outfit Djurgardens 2-0 in Budapest.

The match will take place later this month, on either August 25 or 26, and will be at Parkhead barring any COVID-19 travel issues.

Celtic breezed through their first round qualifier after overcoming Icelandic champions KR Reykjavik 6-0 at Parkhead on Tuesday evening.

Goals from Odsonne Edouard, Greg Taylor, Christopher Jullien and a Moi Elyounoussi double added to an Arnor Adalsteinsson own goal on an extremely comfortable evening at Parkhead for Lennon's men.

Ferencvaros put in a decent showing in last season's Europa League, and should provide a much tougher test for Celtic than KR Reykjavik did.

The match will also be played over one-leg, and if Celtic should progress then their third round qualifier will be in the same format.

The final play-off round will be played over two legs.
