Celtic learn potential Champions League opponents as second qualifying round throws up possible Cluj reunion

Celtic face some potentially tricky ties if they make it through to the second qualifying round of the Champions League.

Neil Lennon 's side have been drawn against KR Reykjavik in the first round, as they bid to return to the group stages.

But things could get tough in the second round, with a reunion with Romanian champions Cluj on the cards.

Dan Petrescu's side eliminated Celtic from last year's competition, before the teams were reunited in the Europa League group stages.

They face Maltese champions Floriana, and are a potential opponent in the second qualifying round.

Celtic could also be drawn against Ferencvaros of Hungary or Swedish champions Djurgarden.

Slovan Bratislava are another potential opponent, provided they make it past Faroese champs KI.

It's yet to be decided whether or not the Premiership champions will play at home in their first round tie.

After Sunday's draw with Kilmarnock Lennon said: “Hopefully it will be at home. We are not sure yet if the game is going to be at a neutral venue or not. We’ll be delighted if it’s at home

"That’s all we can ask for really. We’ll take it from there.”

Celtic's potential opponents:

Floriana or CFR Cluj

Ferencváros or Djurgarden

KI or Slovan Bratislava
