Boston Celtics All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum’s son Deuce turned three years old today, and the Celtics star wished his son a happy birthday on Instagram to celebrate the big day.
Tatum has been a devoted father since the birth of Deuce three years ago today, stealing moments with the shortest member of his family whenever his busy professional career has allowed him to — whether in the flesh or by means of remote telepresence.
The Duke product penned his son a short message to go with a series of recent photos of the pair spending time together for the birthday post.
“Deuce Day! Big 3!” began Tatum in the post to his son.
“Happy birthday lil man daddy love you more than anything in the world! Couldn’t be more blessed to be your dad and thankful for you inspiring me to be a better person for you! No better feeling than being with you my right hand man forever.”
Fresh off of signing a $195 million rookie extension and heading into a season where, for the first time ever, the team is truly his whether he’ll admit it in public or not, the Tatum family is on top of the world, and deserves to be.
