Celtic 'interested' in transfer swoop for top Italian talent

Celtic are reportedly keen on signing an Italy Under-21 international. 

However, it's said they will face stiff competition for his signature this summer.

SportMediaset claims that the Scottish Premiership champions are keen on young striker Giuseppe Ambrosino.

The frontman, 21, scored five times on loan for Frosinone last season.

He has since returned to his parent club, Napoli, where it is expected he will leave on a further loan with an option to buy this summer.

It's also reported that Ambrosino is keen on a switch to fellow Serie A side Cagliari, who are believed to be in the running to sign him.
