Celtic will be without a trio of first-team players against Livingston.
Alistair Johnston has been ruled out for three months after being forced off with a hamstring issue against Kairat Almaty in the Champions League.
The full-back had to be taken off on a stretcher and, following scans, it has been confirmed he faces a 12-week timeline before a return to action.
Celtic will also be without Auston Trusty and Adam Idah for this weekend's Scottish Premiership match.
The centre-back has a persistent injury knock with Idah out due to a knee problem.
"Adam Idah is struggling with his knee," said Rodgers.
"Auston Trusty could be out for a bit with the plantar fasciitis that he has had."
On Johnston he added: "Not great. He will probably be about 12 weeks.
"He had his scan yesterday, so it's disappointing for him because he's come back and started well.

Celtic injury hammer blow as Alistair Johnston ruled out for months
"I think when you lose any player of that calibre, it is a disappointment, but it will provide an opportunity for someone to step in.
"We know we have Tony, I have got young Colby Donovan who is a young player here who has really impressed me over the time I've been back.
"In this last 12 months he has made great strides.
"Of course, for Ali, we just want to make sure we are in a good position in all competitions when he gets back."
Daizen Maeda, though, is okay despite some cramp.
Rodgers said: "Daizen has just, we've probably had to use him more than we would have liked, but he's okay.
"Just a bit stiff and crampy, but yeah, apart from that injury-wise, it's probably the same squad."
