Celtic injury update as Christopher Jullien prepares for debut ahead of flying to Estonia

Celtic trained at Celtic Park on Monday morning ahead of flying out to Estonia where they should complete their passage to the third qualifying round of the Champions League .

Neil Lennon ’s side last week all but booked their place in the next stage of qualifying with an emphatic 5-0 win over Nomme Kalju.

Nothing is over until it is over of course but the Celtic manager is likely to feel relaxed enough about the tie to give a bit of game time to those who need it.

Vakoun Bayo could feature at some point after his early pre-season promise was derailed by an injury. The Ivorian will give Lennon more options upfront this season behind Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths.

One man who will almost certainly start, though, is £7million signing Christopher Jullien .

The French centre-back faced Rennes in the pre-season friendly but has yet to make his competitive debut in the Hoops.

However, Lennon earlier revealed he was planning to hand Jullien, 26, his bow in the second leg against Nomme Kalju.

He limbered up at the ground along with the likes of Olivier Ntcham – who is being tipped with a transfer away from Celtic this summer – along with Mikey Johnston.

The young winger has carried on his form from last season and Lennon is a big fan.

Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo trained today as well and should be fit for the second leg despite going off ill during the first clash between the sides.

Kieran Tierney wasn’t pictured at the stadium as he continues his rehabilitation from surgery he had at the end of last season.
