Celtic injury latest as Neil Lennon provides updates on Mikey Johnston and Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo

Mikey Johnston has been ruled out of Celtic 's Champions League qualifier against Sarajevo.

The forward, whose stunning first half strike kick-started the Hoops' fightback in Tuesday's 3-1 first leg win in Kosovo, picked up a knock later on in the match and had to be replaced.

Neil Lennon revealed on Friday that the 20-year-old would not be fit for the return leg at Parkhead on Wednesday.

But there was better news for new signing Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo who also limped out of the Kosovo clash.

Lennon is hopeful the left-back will be fit to feature although he is unlikely to play any part in Saturday's friendly against Rennes.

Tom Rogic, Vakoun Bayo, Marian Shved and Jack Hendry all also missed the trip to Bosnia through injury. It remains to be seen if any feature against the Ligue 1 side but £7million signing Christopher Jullien should play a part.

Lennon said: "Boli Bolingoli should be okay for Wednesday but Mikey Johnston will just miss out.

"Jullien's likely to feature tomorrow. If he comes through it okay, then he’ll be in contention for Wednesday.

"He’s come in and been fantastic. We think he’s a talented player and hopefully he’ll continue to develop and flourish at Celtic."
