Scottish champions Celtic are weighing up a possible loan move for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.
The Scottish Sun claims the Hoops have checked into the availability of the 23-year old, after the player's proposed move to Burnley collapsed.
The Reds appear to be open to letting Wilson go before the close of the transfer window, but the Clarets were seemingly unwilling to meet the club's £20m price tag.
Liverpool are believed to prefer a permanent departure for Wilson before the window closes, but there's seemingly no offers on the table for the Wales international.
Leeds United were among the other names believed to be keen, but appear to have cooled their interest and are instead closing in on a move for Rennes winger Raphinha.
As a result, Liverpool may well have to be open to a loan deal if they are to secure a departure before the close of the window.
Wilson has so far had four different loan spells away from Anfield since 2015, and a spell at Celtic Park might well be seen as a good next move.
The forward enjoyed a reasonably successful stint with Bournemouth last season, netting seven goals for the Cherries, before making his return to Anfield.
Wilson recently played the full 90 minutes of Liverpool's defeat to Arsenal in the Carabao Cup last week, and earned strong praise from boss Jurgen Klopp in spite of the player missing a decisive spot kick in the resulting shootout.
Reports have since claimed that Klopp may well have changed his mind on wanting to moveWilson on this season, with the future of Xherdan Shaqiri believed to be a potential factor.
Should the Swiss international leave Anfield, there is a suggestion Wilson could well be seen as a ready-made replacement.
The player himself is currently on his way to link-up with his Wales team-mates ahead of the upcoming international break.
