Celtic in extensive fixture shake up as Europa League sparks 5 Premiership changes

Celtic have been handed a host of new dates for their Premiership fixture list after reaching the Europa League group stage.

Ange Postecoglou 's side secured their place in the tournament following an aggregate success over AZ Alkmaar.

They were rewarded with an exciting group comprised of Bayer Leverkusen, Real Betis and Ferencvaros.

Celtic' s clash with Livingston has been pushed back for the group stage trip to Seville on September 16 by 24 hours to Sunday, September 19 at 3pm.

Leverkusen will arrive at Parkhead on September 30, which now means the visit to Aberdeen has been shifted to Sunday, October 3 at 12noon in a clash televised on Sky Sports.

A trip to Dens Park has been moved to allow an extra day of preparation following the trip to Ferencvaros. The game will now be played on November 7 at 3pm.

The return fixture against the Germans on November 25 has also seen the trip to Glasgow's east end for Stephen Glass' moved to Sunday, November 28 at 3pm.

Motherwell's trip to Glasgow's east end will also be pushed back to December 12 accommodate the clash with Betis at home.
