Celtic in £10m transfer double swoop as Thomas Henry and Josip Juranovic eyed by Ange Postecoglou

Celtic are set to shell out £10m on Thomas Henry and Josip Juranovic as they look to land the final pieces of Ange Postecoglou's Parkhead puzzle.

The Australian is steadily piecing his squad together as he looks to take advantage of a seemingly vulnerable Rangers and bring the Premiership title back to Celtic Park.

His five additions so far have made an impact with Kyogo Furuhashi hammering in the goals while Joe Hart looks a steady improvement between the sticks.

Postecoglou isn't stopping there however and has been vocal in his desire for more signings.

A new right-back to compete with Anthony Ralston is high on the agenda, as is a new striker, with speculation rife over Odsonne Edouard's future.

The Daily Record report that Postecoglou has found the players he wants in those positions - Croatian right-back Juranovic and Belgian marksman Henry.

And it's claimed Celtic are prepared to put down £10m on the two to give their manager the players he wants.

It's believed 21-goal Henry will set them back £7m while the remaining £3m will go to Legia Warsaw for Juranovic, who is seen as a more experienced alternative to Aurelio Buta.

News of Henry's potential arrival first emerged this week after his flying start to the season in Belgium. The towering target man has scored in each of OH Leuven's first three games and, at 26, he looks good value for money.

The same goes for Juranovic who is already a full Croatian international and starred against Scotland at Euro 2020.
