Celtic icon Artur Boruc is celebrating a remarkable title triumph with Legia Warsaw at the age of 41...19 years after he last won the league with the club.
The veteran shot-stopper completed an emotional return to his first club in Poland in the summer 15 years after he first left Legia to sign for Celtic.
Boruc collected six major honours in a five-year spell under Gordon Strachan at Parkhead before moving to Fiorentina ten years ago. He was then back-up keeper at Bournemouth after a stint with Southampton. But after his contract expired with Bournemouth, he returned to his first love and signed a one-year deal with Legia.
Although only supposed to be a back-up keeper, Boruc quickly established himself as Legia's No.1 again and was even nominated for Player of the Month last week. He's kept ten clean sheets in 23 games.
And this week, Legia claimed the Polish Ekstraklasa - which was Boruc's second title with the club after last winning it in 2002. Two of his league winning team mates - Szymon Włodarczyk and Jakub Kisiel - weren't even born when Boruc last collected a league winners' medal
Now Boruc is negotiating a new contract with Legia. The club's president, Dariusz Mioduski said: "We have very good relations with Artur.

"We know his value for Legia, we appreciate his role on the pitch and off the pitch. We will do everything to keep him at the club."
And Legia boss Dariusz Mioduski added: "Artur's story is an incredible one. He's still one of the best keepers in the country and we are very lucky to have him."
