Celtic hero Sutton brutally trolls ex-Rangers boss Beale over Sunderland derby defeat

Chris Sutton has brutally trolled former Rangers manager Michael Beale after his Sunderland side fell to defeat in their derby clash against Newcastle.

Beale's side were beaten 3-0 at the Stadium of Light as Eddie Howe's men dumped their rivals out of the FA Cup in the third round encounter.

And Sutton - who clashed with Beale during his stint as Ibrox boss - couldn't resist a jibe at Beale as he referenced his derby record in Scotland.

In response to Sutton's comments, Beale said: "Growing up, I was a fan of Chelsea.

“So there is one pundit around here who is the worst ever player to play for Chelsea.

"That is why I won’t mention his name — I try to forget him.

“There are pundits that are comedy acts. There are ex-players who are comedy acts."

On his exit from Rangers, Sutton blasted Beale with a stinging retort, stating: "There are some managers that are comedy acts…"
