Celtic hero Odsonne Edouard scores with first touch as he bags brace for new club Crystal Palace

Ex-Celtic hitman Odsonne Edouard has got his Crystal Palace career off to a flier.

Making his Premier League debut, the French forward came off the bench to score with his first touch.

Edouard turned home the Eagles' second at Selhurst Park after being assisted by star man Wilfried Zaha - who got the first from the penalty spot.

The 23-year-old Hoops hero secured new Palace boss Partick Vieira's first win in charge of the south London club by grabbing a second in stoppage time to earn a 3-0 victory.

It gets his relationship with the home fans off to a great start.

The France U21 international left Parkhead on transfer deadline day in a £15m deal that saw him leave the Scottish Premiership to start a new career in English football.

If he can continue to have the sort of impact he has on his debut, the former PSG kid will no doubt be a smash hit down south.
