Celtic hero Chris Sutton gives Mohamed Elyounoussi transfer verdict ahead of proposed move

Chris Sutton insists Celtic's proposed move for Mohamed Elyounoussi is "good business" from the club.

The winger has reportedly agreed to extend his loan spell at the club for another season, according to Norwegian wesbite VG Sporten.

Reporter Arilas Ould-Saada said: "Mohamed Elyounoussi has decided his future. According to our information the Norwegian international will extend his loan spell at Celtic for one more season. Final paperwork remains before it’s a done deal."

Elyounoussi enjoyed a brilliant spell on loan from Southampton last season and BT Sport pundit Sutton believes, if the deal goes ahead, it's a positive move for Celtic.

He said: "Elyounoussi for another year is good business from Celtic."

The Hoops are also trying to secure a deal for Fraser Forster as they look to bring back another Saints star to Parkhead this summer.

But the keeper's future hangs in the balance and has resulted in Celtic looking at different options, if the deal falls through, including Joe Hart.
