Celtic hero Alan Thompson raffles off signed jerseys to raise NHS cash in fantastic gesture

Celtic hero Alan Thomson is raffling off two signed jerseys to raise cash for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

The former Hoops midfielder posted a video on social media telling fans that he'd be giving the shirts away in exchange for a donation to his JustGiving page.

One of the shirts is a 'Cesar 1967' t-shirt and the other is a Celtic top featuring the names of a number of club legends.

On his JustGiving page, Thompson wrote: "I am donating my Cesar 1967 t-shirt to a random Celtic fan in return for a small donation of £1, or however much you would like to donate, for our wonderful NHS workers!

"Their endless and selfless dedication has been outstanding in these unprecendented times. A little thanks... and I will send the signed t-shirt to the lucky winner and in return let's say thanks to our magnificent NHS in the process."

Thompson has set a target of £3000 on his JustGiving page. To donate, and be in with a chance of winning the shirts, click here.
