Celtic are believed to have had a £7.2m bid accepted for Caleb Ekuban.
The Ghanaian international spent a season at Leeds United before joining Trabzonspor.
The 26-year-old has scored 17 goals in 64 games for the Turkish Super Lig side.
Turkish sports network sporx report that a bid of around £7.2m from the Scottish champions has been accepted and that Ekuban "is transferring to Celtic".
They say that the striker will travel to Glasgow this week for a medical.
Neil Lennon's side have also been linked with Motherwell's David Turnbull, Brighton's Shane Duffy, Hearts's Aaron Hickey and Atletico Madrid's Rodrigo Riquelme this week.
A deal for Turnbull is expected to be concluded this week. The 21-year-old midfielder was initially expected to join Celtic last summer, but failed his medical due to knee problems that kept him out for the majority of the 2019/20 Premiership season.
Turnbull is now back to full fitness and played in Motherwell's 1-0 defeat against Hamilton Accies at Fir Park on Saturday.
Daily Telegraph reporter Mike McGrath, meanwhile, tweeted: "#CelticFC are set to win the race for #Hearts full-back Aaron Hickey.
"The 18yr old had interest from English Premier League clubs after playing regularly last season."
