Celtic given further fixture shuffle as Kilmarnock clash moved amid packed schedule

Premiership chasers Celtic have had another league fixture moved back at the request of TV broadcasters.

Neil Lennon's side travel to Rugby Park to take on Kilmarnock next month - the venue of the club's first two dropped points in the current league campaign.

That game was also notable for the infamous Boli Bolingoli substitution that led to two of the champions' current three games in hand being postponed.

They were due to make the trip to Ayrshire on Wednesday, February 3, but that has changed with the game now taking place a day earlier on Tuesday, February 2.

The kick-off time remains a traditional 7.45pm as the Parkhead club look to eat into Rangers' 19-point lead at the top of the table.

It marks their first match of a busy run of six Premiership games plus potential Scottish Cup action as the Glasgow giants hope to end the campaign with silverware.

Another of their February matches has also been shuffled at the request of European football's governing body, UEFA.

Celtic's home clash against Aberdeen on February 17 was brought forward on Friday, to the abnormal time of 6pm from the scheduled 7pm start to avoid a clash with Champions League ties.
