Celtic games postponed and Rangers wish theirs was too in the week on Twitter

Scottish football and politics is not always a good mix. Crowds may not yet be allowed back in grounds, but politicians are still commenting on our national game.

The President of Albania made yet another harmless appearance in Celtic's Twitter notifications, but their player being discussed during the First Minister of Scotland's briefing was less welcome.

Elsewhere, there was x-rated action for Hibs and no action for Hearts.

Here's how the last seven days played out on Scottish Football Twitter.

MONDAY

It was a quiet start to the week, if you exclude the news that a Celtic player flew to Spain without informing his club, failed to isolate upon returning to the country and then trained with his team-mates before playing against Kilmarnock.

TUESDAY

Amazingly, Boli Bolingoli was still being talked about the following day. Honestly people, have you nothing better to talk about than a high-profile footballer not only jeopardising the Scottish football season but compromising the safety of staff at two football clubs?

I mean, if you're going to talk about this sort of thing, why not address sevco playing 9 infected players i a friendly?

Even Nicola Sturgeon was reduced to talking about football. Doesn't she know there's a pandemic going on?

Not everyone was gutted about Celtic's next two fixtures being postponed.

This wasn't the first time Bolingoli's movement had been an issue.

Bolingoli wasn't the only person going somewhere he wasn't meant to.

Not everyone was comfortable with Hibs' current destination.

WEDNESDAY

THURSDAY

Or not.
