Celtic fixture change as Kilmarnock clash is brought forward 24 hours for live TV

Celtic have had another clash moved for live TV after their match with Kilmarnock was brought forward by 24 hours.

The game was due to take place on Wednesday, February 3 but will now be shown live on Sky Sports on Tuesday, February 2.

Kick-off will be at 7.45pm and sees Celtic return to Rugby Park, where they dropped points earlier in the season.

It was also the scene of the now infamous Boli Bolingoli substitute appearance that led to Celtic missing two games and the defender being sent on loan.

The Kilmarnock clash is the first game in a packed February schedule with six league games plus a potential Scottish Cup tie to take place during the month.

Four days after they face Killie, they host Motherwell before then playing St Mirren and St Johnstone.

A double header against Aberdeen rounds off the month after their postponed game earlier in the season was rearranged for the end of February.

Neil Lennon's side arrived back in Scotland on Friday night after a warm weather training camp in Dubai that sparked controversy.

The Scottish government called for the SFA to investigate it while pictures of players drinking poolside appeared on social media.

Fans were also angry that the Hoops travelled to Dubai, while lockdown restrictions were in place in Scotland meaning most people have been unable to leave the house.
