Celtic fans will love this brilliant Rangers put-down from Sunderland star

Sunderland striker Chris Maguire has once again pledged his allegiance to Celtic as he took a playful swipe at Rangers.

The former Aberdeen ace took part in a fan Q&A on Twitter where he asked if he'd rather play for Rangers or Black Cats' rivals Newcastle United.

@declan777 said: "Who would you rather play for, Newcastle or Rangers."

And Maguire replied: "Hmm, let me think about that one", as he proceeded to drink out of a Treble Treble themed Celtic mug.

Then he finished the clip by saying, "None."

The Bellshill-born foward has never hidden his love for the Parkhead club. The 31-year-old spent six years at Pittodrie, before moving to a host of clubs down south.

The 31-year-old made his debut for the Dons against the Hoops in 2006.

Maguire signed for Sunderland in 2018 and has scored 17 goals in 68 games for the English side as he looks to be enjoying the best football of his career.

You can watch his brilliant response in the player above.
