Celtic fans urge Neil Lennon to stick with star pair as they name line-up vs Dundee United

Celtic fans have urged Neil Lennon to keep Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths in the starting line-up against Dundee United.

The Hoops take on the Tangerines at Parkhead this afternoon as Lennon's men look to keep their winning streak going heading into derby day.

The Northern Irishman will will have some choices to make regarding team selection. The trip to Ibrox is a quick turnaround and he could rotate his squad to keep his players fresh for the Rangers clash.

But supporters are hoping the Celtic boss does not disrupt his side too much.

Edouard and Griffiths have started the previous two games and the pair were insync on Boxing Day against Hamilton as they both got on the scoresheet.

It's expected the strikers will start against the Light Blues, meaning one or both could be rested this afternoon.

But Celtic fans hope that isn't the case as they named their starting XI against United.

The most popular line-up included three changes with Mohamed Elyounoussi replacing Ryan Christie, Christopher Jullien in for Nir Bitton and Diego Laxalt over Greg Taylor.

Celtic fans' most popular XI vs Dundee United: Hazard, Frimpong, Jullien, Ajer, Laxalt, Soro, McGregor, Turnbull, Griffiths, Edouard, Elyounoussi.
