Celtic fans thank Craig Gordon as keeper seals Hearts move

Celtic fans have paid tribute to Craig Gordon after the keeper sealed his return to Hearts.

Gordon spent six years at Celtic Park, but was kept out of the team last season by loan signing Fraser Forster.

The 37-year-old today sealed his move to Tynecastle, and Celtic fans have praised the veteran.

He pulled off many impressive saves during his time at the club, but it was his iconic reaction to Tom Rogic's treble-winner at Hampden that came to mind for many.

"Craig Gordon will go down as one of the most underrated Celtic keepers of our time. Bailed us out on many an occasion and pivotal in the Invincible Treble season" - @ToniMcFadden67

"Sad to see Craig Gordon leave Celtic but he should go with everyone's best wishes. Six titles and part of The Invincibles when he had 19 shutouts in 2016-17 SPFL season. Great keeper whose contribution was immense" - @PJG_Sport

"Great servant to the club, can't fault him for wanting to play first team football" - @colin72787965

"Can't say a bad word about him. Gave us everything he could and was very professional. Throwing in a few wonderful Kung Fu kicks along the way" - @GaelicRoadSign

"Farewell Craig Gordon. A very good keeper for Celtic. However his greatest moment will always be the time after that Hearts game when he let kids take penalties against him outside the main entrance. That was a class act" - @celticrumours

"Anyone who thinks about Craig Gordon at Celtic and doesn't go straight to the image of him on his knees after big Tam's winning invincible treble goal needs to have a word with themselves. All the best" - @coybig6721
