Celtic fans WILL receive tickets for their upcoming Europa League clash with Real Betis.
Ange Postecoglou 's side kick off their group stage campaign in Spain on Thursday, September 16 and are set to be backed by a Euro away support for the first time since February 2020.
The ban on away fans in UEFA competition will be lifted from September 10, opening the door for an emotional return to Seville for the Hoops faithful.
And now it's been confirmed a number of supporters will get the chance to watch their side at the Benito Villamarín Stadium.
A Celtic statement said: "Celtic Football Club announced this evening, we have been informed that we will receive an allocation of tickets for the forthcoming Europa League match in Seville against Real Betis, on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
"Due to the short turn-around time which we must deal with and the local Covid protocol requirements, we are presently establishing the most appropriate process for allocating tickets to those fans intending to attend the match.
"Further information will follow through the Club website.
"Given the ongoing travel logistics, the Club will not be providing any fan charters for this match and naturally encourage any supporters wishing to attend the match that they comply with all UK and Spanish Covid-19 requirements.
"The club will provide further information as soon as possible."
The last time Celtic fans were allowed to watch their side on the continent was in a 1-1 Europa League draw away to Copenhagen, 19 months ago.
Seville holds a special place in club folklore after an estimated 80,000 travelled to the city for the UEFA Cup Final against Porto in 2003.
