Celtic fans react to Reykjavik Champions League draw as tricky Swedish tie is avoided

Celtic fans are pleased with the news that they'll face KR Reykjavik in the Champions League.

They'll take on the Icelandic champions in a one-legged fixture on August 18 or 19. Celtic have home advantage after being drawn first.

The two sides last met in 2014, with Ronny Deila's side winning 1-0 in Iceland and 4-0 in Glasgow.

Celtic fans are pleased to have avoided a potentially tougher test against Swedish side Djurgårdens.

Here's what supporters have been saying.

"Fairly straightforward, hammered them a few years ago with a poorer side, shouldn’t be a slip up" - @FraserC0405

"Can you redo the draw and announce Linfield pls" - @ConorL998

"Good wee tie to start us off" - @BuzzBomb11

"I believe that we will win" - @EtienneBojan

"A good draw that could have been worse" - @Garymc1982

"Djurgardens are a decent side Swedish champions so we missed a trick there. Home tie as well against KR can't complain too much with that" - @Nickmacgregor5

"Happy enough there, not overly keen on these one-off ties. Give me the fear" - @Stiby13

"Good draw. Should be putting a few by them and good to have home advantage as well" - @seanmarkus_67

Neil Lennon's side are in Premiership action this afternoon, with the champions taking on Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
