Celtic fans let off flares as thousands join march to Parkhead ahead of Rangers clash

Thousands of Celtic fans have marched to Parkhead, alongside the Green Brigade, ahead of today's clash with rivals Rangers .

The fans were filmed letting off green smoke bombs, chanting and singing as they walked along London Road to Celtic Park for kick off.

Carrying banners and flags the Green Brigade gathered and were escorted by Police Scotland officers to the stadium as thousands more fans joined in.

The Celtic fans' group marched behind a Green Brigade banner along the Gallowgate, with some shouting into megaphones and waving scarfs.

Today's match at Parkhead is the third time the Glasgow rivals have played each other this season.

The Hoops go into the match looking to extend their lead at the top of the table to eight point, but Steven Gerrard's side are out to stop this with a game in hand.
