Celtic fans lap up Andy Robertson's 'Jota Sundays' celebration

Andy Robertson's recent Liverpool celebrations have certainly caught the attention of Celtic fans.

Taking to social media, the Scotland captain posted a photo of the Reds' goal celebrations after beating Tottenham yesterday.

The 29-year-old proclaimed: "Jota Sundays."

It came after Diogo Jota netted a last-minute winner for Jurgen Klopp's men in the enthralling Premier League clash.

However, Hoops fans were quick to point out that Robertson's post could also have been in reference to Celtic's 1-0 win over Rangers.

Parkhead star Jota netted the only goal of the game in the first half at Hampden to secure their passage to the final of this season's Scottish Cup.

Robertson is a known boyhood Celtic fan and was in the club's academy as a youngster.

And Hoops supporters reckon that as well as celebrating Liverpool's winner, it may also have been a perhaps not-so-subtle nod towards Celtic's big victory.

One fan commented: "You know it, Filipe bossed it today."

Another said: "You speaking about the other Jota?"

And another added: "A caption that needs no explanation."

Previously Robbo said: "Every time I watch Celtic, I consider it (signing for them).

“When you watch them and see a packed Celtic Park, as a fan you always have that dream.

"When I look at Celtic and when I was growing up, I was thinking I wanted to give them my best years.

"When I was at Queen’s Park I had a dream of still playing with Celtic and always dreamed of giving my best years to Celtic.

“And now I don’t want to go as a 34 or 35-year-old old guy that my uncles start hating on me because I can’t move anymore! Time will tell. I’m very much a person who lives in the moment.
