Celtic fans go wild as Ismaila Soro starts over Scott Brown in brave line-up for Rangers clash

Celtic fans are delighted as Ismaila Soro starts ahead of Scott Brown for derby day.

Neil Lennon named his line-up for the today's showdown against Rangers as his side look to chase down the Premiership league leaders.

Brown has been named as a substitute in recent weeks as Soro continues to shine in the middle of the park.

And Celtic supporters are over the moon the Ivorian has kept his place in the side at Ibrox.

@ConMcQ said: "He actually did it. Gutted for big Jullien. Still have a lot of faith in this side. We are giving ourselves the best chance we can with our strongest possible side. No regrets Celtic."

@CiaranShanks added: "Soro. Turnbull. Two strikers. Hope is a dangerous thing..."

@ScottAlcroft said: "Wow!! Fair play Lenny son fair play."

@joe83duffy tweeted: "Things you love to see."

@Calumdavidson_ said: "Neil Lennon thank you. SORO."

@TheBhoyJM added: "Wow. He’s actually dropped Brown for Soro for the biggest game of the season, really didn’t see that coming."

Celtic XI: Barkas, Ajer, Frimpong, Laxalt, Bitton, Soro, Turnbull, McGregor, Christie, Edouard, Griffiths.

Subs: Hazard, Taylor, Duffy, Rogic, Ntcham, Ajeti, Elyounoussi, Brown, Elhamed.
