Celtic fans get misty-eyed over Paradise lost as SLO posts emotional video of empty ground

It's a place you never really give a second thought.

The no-man's-land between turnstile and seat where fans only go to visit the toilet or pick up a pie and bovril.

But the stadium concourse has taken on a new meaning as football enters its 10th weekend off.

Celtic supporters liason officer John Paul Taylor has posted an emotional video of the various shuttered Parkhead pie stalls and stairways.

It's now likely that the next time supporters set foot in them, the club will have been crowned nine in a row Scottish Premiership champions.

In fact, if closed door games become the new normal because of coronavirus for the beginning of next season, they could even be in the middle of a historic attempt for a 10th.

And the empty Celtic Park concourses - usually teeming with fans on a matchday but now cavernous and empty - tugged at some fans' heartstrings.

The action might take place on the park in football but it seems every mundane aspect of going to the football now has fans getting all emotional.

@STalent1916 said: "Thanks for that. Heartbreak at this time in the morning"

@BigJaso71 added: "Can’t wait, I’m in section 403 with a million stairs to climb, I now miss those stairs lol."
