Celtic fans get Champions League broadcast boost as club reveal Nomme Kalju clash will be shown live

Celtic have announced that they will show the first leg of their Champions League clash with Nomme Kalju on their club TV channel.

The Hoops take on the Estonians at Celtic Park on Wednesday night and it won’t be shown on normal TV.

But Celtic fans with a subscription to CelticTV will be able to watch the game live without any additional cost.

Record Sport Online will also be covering the match live if you are unable to watch the game on CelticTV.

Neil Lennon's side will be hoping for a comfortable victory after coming through their first round clash against Sarajevo.

The second leg will take place in Estonia next Wednesday and Celtic will face either Maccabi Tel-Aviv or Cluj in the next round if they get past Nomme Kalju.

Meanwhile, Lennon insists Celtic are in a "strong position" to retain Kieran Tierney after Arsenal were rebuffed in their pursuit of the defender.

The Gunners lodged several bids, one said to be up to £25million for the Scotland left-back, but saw all of them dismissed by Parkhead chiefs.

The London club met the Hoops' valuation of the player with their last bid, but only made that fee via a series of add-ons that would eventually raise the value of the deal, which saw Celtic reject the offer.
