Celtic fans furious with Albian Ajeti and Ryan Christie decision from Neil Lennon

Celtic fans can't understand why Neil Lennon has opted to ditch his 4-4-2 diamond formation that has helped his side go on a three-match winning run.

The Parkhead side are looking to extend the streak to four against St Johnstone this afternoon, but Odsonne Edouard looks to be playing as lone striker as Albian Ajeti drops to the bench for Ryan Christie.

The Swiss striker is one of three forwards named as a substitute alongside Leigh Griffiths and Patryk Klimala.

And Celtic supporters are puzzled by the decision to change a system that has resulted in back-to-back 4-0 wins away from home.

@RyanGormley said: "Three strikers on the bench."

@s_oneill88 tweeted: "One up front and no wingers with five midfielders playing - four of which are essentially the same player. Meanwhile, three strikers left on the bench and two wingers - one of which is our joint top goalscorer."

@pclerkinn added: "Why has Lennon moved from two up front when it has been at the fore for Edouard’s form recently? Why no Soro for four games."

@dougie88martin said: "Duffy. Then also starts a CAM at ST when we have three ST on the bench. Class."

@Smithybhoy tweeted: "Christie is not a striker btw, this has been tried before and hasn't worked."

@bhoy1888_celtic added: "Why is Ajeti not playing? We play so much better with two upfront so let's have three strikers on the bench! Why is Soro not back in the side?"
