Celtic extend season ticket deadline as fans given further four weeks to renew

Celtic have announced an extension to their season ticket deadline, giving fans an extra four weeks to sign up for next season.

Scottish football has been in shutdown since March due to the coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping the country.

And, in light of the current situation, the the Premiership champions have pushed the renewal deadline back from May 1 to May 29.

Celtic announced: "Ever since this crisis has unfolded, our renewal process has continued, with many supporters renewing on a daily basis and of course this continues. However, we know that times have changed considerably for many people.

"We all want to have some sort of normality back to our lives, and we are working hard here to ensure that we can be ready to start next season stronger together. However, we do, of course, recognise fully the real challenges many of you will be facing during this uncertain time and these unique circumstances.

"As a season ticket holder you have supported the team and the club through highs and lows, and we want you to be there again, standing with us next season.

"That’s why we have now extended the renewal deadline from Friday, May 1 to Friday, May 29, for all season ticket holders, including corporate and premium.

"We know that through teamwork and support for each other we will tackle the challenges we face and ensure that Celtic remains where it belongs."
