Celtic fans do mass huddle in the middle of Glasgow city centre to celebrate 8 in a row

Saturday afternoon in city centres; normally a time for shopping or having a bite to eat with the family.

But when your team has just won the league to seal eight titles in a row and remain on the brink of a treble Treble?

Well, it’s party time.

As the final whistle blew at Pittodrie following Celtic’s 3-0 win at Aberdeen, the away fans erupted.

Neil Lennon performed his aeroplane celebration on the pitch while in the stands supporters bounced up and down as the possibility of 10 In a Row drew that bit closer.

The celebrations among Celtic fans weren’t confined to the North-East, of course.

Back in Glasgow, the party was in full swing too.

Punters filed out of pubs and clubs with smiles plastered all over their faces.

This was especially true in the Merchant City where one major celebration was witnessed.

Tens of Celtic fans performed the huddle slap bang in the middle of a road after coming out of Connolly’s Irish Bar on Bell Street.

"Let’s all do the huddle," they cried as cars were forced to drive around supporters who were whooping up yet another Premiership title.

On the normally busy streets, only their voices could be heard.

You can watch their celebrations in the clip above.
