Celtic fans delighted as Neil Lennon names side without strikers again

Celtic fans are delighted after Neil Lennon again named a side without any recognised strikers.

Lennon adopted a similar approach against Ferencvaros in the Champions League on Wednesday, with supporters hailing his tactical genius after the best side in Hungary failed to keep a clean sheet against Lennon's heroes.

Many fans had worried that he might be tempted to revert to a more traditional 'Significantly increase your chances of scoring goals by playing at least one person whose job is to score goals' approach, but they were relieved this afternoon upon discovering that Lennon had refused to mess with the formula that brought him so much success in midweek.

Here are just a few of the comments from Celtic fans who just can't get enough of Lennon right now.

"Lennon no playing a striker just to be a petty stubborn b***ard" - @Danielle_McG4

"Is he having a f***ing laugh" - @adammcminn6

"Suffering f*** man get him to f***" - @NeilK1888

"No striker again? F*** sake what a joke" - @jedmrr8892

"Holy f*** he's named the same team" - @ltreidy67

"No even surprised f***ing absolute idiot" - @GrazBgi

"That's f***ing embarrassing" - @KevinBollannd

"Genuinely cannot believe Lennon has picked the same lineup. He's a f***ing joke" - @bfm8619

Excited Hoops fans are now urging Lennon to sell 'unnecessary' forward Odsonne Edouard and build the team around Scott Brown's attacking threat.
