Celtic fans 'buzzing' with Ferencvaros and Djurgardens as potential Champions League opponents

Celtic fans are satisfied with today's Champions League draw.

If they overcome KR Reykjavik of Iceland in the first qualifying round on August 18 or 19, they will play either Ferencvaros of Hungary or Djurgardens of Sweden in the second round.

That tie will again be played over one leg, with Celtic having home advantage should they beat the Icelandic champions.

The match will be played on August 25 or 26.

Here's how fans of Neil Lennon's side have reacted.

"Nae excuses. Two winnable games here - both at home which is a massive bonus" - @Kieran_Celtic

"Good draw! Happy with that!" - @csgaz

"Got to be pleased with that. Imagine the game will have to be played at a neutral venue if the Swedish champions go through" - @_AndrewAngus

"Two favourable draws IMO. Time to strengthen the squad and bring in some quality. I’m beginning to think that keeping Edouard hinges on us reaching CL group stage..." - @Celtic_GLA

"Well doesn’t look the easiest tie (especially with yesterday’s efforts so fresh in the memory) but not the worst and obviously we still have the first round to play as well" - @TheBhoyMoz

"Two home games. Can't ask for more than that" - @mcanenys

"Best possible draw, buzzing with that" - @AidoM67

"Another good draw for Celtic and even better we've avoided Cluj" - @henriktongue
