Celtic fans are hopeful of having a capacity crowd for next month's clash against Rangers - by staging a mock wedding inside Parkhead.
The Scottish Government announced yesterday that just 500 supporters will be allowed to attend matches for a three-week period beginning on December 26.
That means the lockout would include Celtic 's mouthwatering showdown with their arch-rivals on January 2, as well as Dundee and Ayrshire derbies.
Talks are going on behind the scenes to bring the three-week Premiership winter break forward, which is currently scheduled to take place following Hearts vs Hibs on January 3.
The Celtic hierarchy last night called for the proposed winter break to brought forward in an attempt to ensure a full house for one of the biggest matches of the season but it seems fans have taken matters into their own hands.
The new restrictions don't apply to gatherings such as outdoor weddings, prompting 'Celtic Park Wedding' to begin trending throughout Scotland on Twitter this morning, with punters hoping to organise a bold attempt at circumventing the new rules.
One person wrote: "Can someone just have their wedding at Celtic Park and then invite 60,000 fans?"
And another added: "A wedding with cheese and wine 60k are allowed inside Celtic Park. I'll go to Costco for the cheese!!"
While this fan concluded: "People want a full stadium for the old firm derby on the 2nd of January.. I’ll take one for the team and get married at Celtic park if someone funds the wedding, you can all be invited!"
