Celtic fan throws firework that goes off near St Mirren keeper Vaclav Hladky

A Celtic fan has thrown a firework that went off near St Mirren keeper Vaclav Hladky as the Hoops ran out 2-0 winners in Paisley.

Neil Lennon's side picked up all three points but there were unsavoury scenes as the away side doubled their lead through Ryan Christie.

A pyrotechnic was launched from the Celtic support which left the Saints keeper visiibly shaken but fortunately appeared to be unharmed from the incident.

Celtic were dominant in the first half as Timothy Weah opened the scoring, but the Hoops were only one goal to the good at the break after Hladky denied Olivier Ntcham from the penalty spot.

Oran Kearney's side were more of a threat in the second half, but Christie's introduction off the bench proved vital as he marked his return from injury with a goal to make it 2-0.
