Celtic face Vincent Angelini fight as they offer highly-rated teen a deal to fend off interest

Celtic have offered their 16-year-old highly-rated keeper Vincent Angelini a two-year deal in a bid to fend off interest from English and Italian clubs.

The keeper, who is the nephew of club legend and former manager Davie Hay, has been impressing with the Parkhead youth sides.

He won Goalkeeper of the Tournament two years ago at the prestigious Marc Overmars Tournament in Holland, when Celtic beat Ajax in the Final and Hoops wonderkid Karamoko Dembele was voted Player of the Tournament.

He's attracted interest from clubs south of the border and Italy for his displays for the Under 16s, but looks set to sign a new two year deal at Parkhead.

Hay won ten trophies at Celtic as a player and a manager and was also boss at Motherwell, Livingston - where he won the League Cup in 2004 - Dunfermline and Norwegian side Lillestrom.
