Celtic are reportedly eyeing up Torino's Gvidas Gineitis as a replacement for the in-demand Arne Engels.
With the amount of clubs chasing Engels, there is a fair chance the club's record signing will be moving on. He has Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Roma leading the chase for him, with others interested and the champions looking for £26million.
The Belgian would need replaced in the Parkhead squad and the Scottish Sun claim Gineitis is on their radar.
The Lithuanian has impressed in Serie A and has a number of Bundesliga sides chasin him, but Celtic are in the mix as Parkhead scouts have been watching him over recent months.
After signing a new deal last year, the 22-year-old has three years remaining on his contract.
His agent Dmitry Vinokurov said: “Torino holds Gvidas in high regard and believes in his future.
“The player has steadily improved within the club and is considered an important part of the project.

“At the same time, Gvidas is ambitious, as any player competing at this level should be.
“There have already been expressions of interest from other clubs, which is natural considering his age, performance, and potential.
“If an interesting offer were to arrive for both Torino and Gvidas, it would certainly be carefully evaluated.”
Celtic rejected a £25m offer from Forest for Engels in January but he looks likely to move on in this window.
While Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is unlikely to stay on, meaning Celtic will need to beef up their midfield.
The men from Glasgow's east end are yet to make their first summer signing.
