Celtic Europa League squad includes Northern Ireland Under 21 goalkeeper

Neil Lennon has named his Celtic squad for the Europa League group stage - and it includes a young Northern Ireland goalkeeper.

Under 21 international Conor Hazard has been included in the Hoops' B-list.

Hazard is one of five shot-stoppers added to Neil Lennon's 37-man squad.

The 21-year-old might be down the pecking order at Celtic Park but he is determined to make his mark for the Hoops.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph this week, he said: “I’ll see what Celtic have planned for me.

“But if things don’t work out between now and January in terms of matches I would be looking to get more game time out on loan. If that happens hopefully I can get the right club for me.

“My aim is to make the grade with Celtic. I need to keep my head down, work hard and try to impress in training every day."

Meanwhile, Odsonne Edouard has been included on the player B list for the first time.

A 37-man squad (which includes 14 players on the player B list) has been submitted to UEFA as summer signings Fraser Foster (below), Greg Taylor, Moritz Bauer and Mohamed Elyounoussi come into the fold.

The Hoops will take on Rennes, Lazio and former Champions League foes Cluj in the group stage with several changes taking place to the squad that defeated AIK 6-1 on aggregate.

Long-term absentees Daniel Arzani also failed to make the cut and there's no place for Eboue Kouassi, either, after the Ivorian, recovering from a serious knee injury, was removed from the player pool that faced AIK. Luca Connell also misses out.

Jack Hendry misses out after he failed to secure a deadline day move away from Parkhead.

The 37-man squad below is now locked in, so no new players can be registered for the duration of the group stages. Should Celtic make the knockout stages then the squad can be updated.
