Kilmarnock will see their trip to Celtic Park on September 21 moved, most likely to the Sunday.
The sides were set to square off at 3pm on the Saturday, but due to Celtic's first Europa League group game coming on Thursday, September 19, the match will be moved.
It will be a hindrance to both sides as they face Betfred Cup quarter-final clashes just three days later.
Celtic are continuing their defence as they host Partick Thistle, whilst Killie welcome Hibernian as they look to battle into their first cup semi-final since 2012 - the year that they defeated Celtic 1-0 in the League Cup final thanks to a Dieter Van Tornhout header.
Both Celtic and their Glasgow rivals Rangers are in today's group draw at 12noon.
