Clive Tyldesley has endeared himself to Rangers fans with a dig at Celtic's 2019/20 title win.
Celtic were named champions despite having eight games remaining, a result that proved less than popular with fans of the Ibrox club.
Tydesley was commentating alongside Kevin Thomson for the second time, having made his debut when Steven Gerrard's side beat St Mirren on Sunday.
Speaking towards the end of Rangers' 3-0 win over St Johnstone, Tyldesley asked: "If the powers that be decide to settle this season now on average points per game, will they give it to Rangers?".
That comment went down a storm with fans of the Ibrox club. Here's what they've been saying.
"Okay @CliveTyldesley. I'm convinced you are some man" - @lloydpato
"MOTM was Clive Tyldesley's banter" - @MattTempleton
"Shots fired by Clive Tyldesley" - @KEGW1995
"Nice little dig from Tyldesley there on points per game!" - @BluenoseGreig
"Tyldesley is the best signing of the season so far" - @HanniTheGent
"Take a bow @CliveTyldesley" - @Nimsay1872
Goals from Borna Barisic, Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo handed Gerrard's men a comfortable victory at Ibrox tonight.
