Celtic diehard Alan Brazil reveals his Seville act of kindness that left talkSPORT colleague RAGING

Outpoken talkSPORT host Alan Brazil admits a charitable moment hours before Celtic's UEFA Cup Final against Porto in 2003 left Mike 'Porky' Parry raging.

The charismatic broadcaster was in Seville on the day of the game and had two tickets in his pocket for himself and his on-air sparring partner to take in the game.

But Brazil was overcome with emotion after speaking to 'Uncle Hughie', an older relative of a friend who had travelled to Spain without a brief, who was in town just to savour the big match experience against Jose Mourinho and his men.

The Celtic fanatic had never left Glasgow before and the former Manchester United striker admits the story tugged at his heartstrings.

And Brazil wasted no time by handing over the gold dust envelope to his friend and 'Hughie' that allowed the pair to watch the Final in person.

But the 58-year-old admits his opinionated co-host wasn't exactly on the same page when he found out his ticket for the big game had gone walking.

Speaking to on his own morning radio show, Brazil explained: "I told him what happened, he was woah, he went ballistic, I mean ballistic.

"We ended up finding a good bar, it was packed, people couldn't get tickets, Porto would go on to win it but what a game it was."

But the drama was far from over with 'Porky' warning his lubricated cohort that an early night was in order with the pair having to record their popular breakfast show in the morning before returning to Marbella.

Brazil admits he was hell-bent on keeping his pal at the bar and it wasn't only about drowning his sorrows after Celtic's 3-2 defeat as Henrik Larsson's deadly double wasn't enough.

He added: "I forgot to tell you (Porky), the guys that got the tickets, had nowhere to stay as well.

"We had to stay up all night on the lash."
