Celtic have been dealt a major injury blow after it emerged James Forrest could miss six weeks due to an ankle fracture.
The wide man will be out of action until at least November after a scan showed a minor stress fracture.
Forrest limped off against Riga in Europa League qualifying last month, and hasn't featured for the Scottish champions since.
The 29-year-old was also left out of Steve Clarke's Scotland squad for Thursday's match against Israel, and now Neil Lennon has confirmed he'll miss four to six weeks through injury.
This rules him out of the Old Firm derby on October 17, Europa League games against AC Milan and Lille and the Premiership and Scottish Cup double header with Aberdeen.
He could also be a doubt for Celtic's away matches to Motherwell and Hibs in the league next month.
